At Birdhouse, our most cherished commissions are our watercolour and ink dog “pawtraits” — tiny tributes to the animals who make our lives full.

Each piece is painted entirely by hand as an original. No prints. No copies. Just one moment of love captured forever.

Because of this, we only ever display a handful of pawtraits, and always with the kind permission of the owners.

Some of our most meaningful commissions are those created in memory of pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge. It is an honour to capture their character, their quirks, and the joy they brought.
